customer workshop in Rüsselsheim, Germany
One more successful technical workshop, took place last week in Rüsselsheim, Germany, known internationally through the presence of the Opel car company and of course ATEMEs workshops organization.
Xavier Gentric, ATEME Northern Europe Sales Manager and its German partner CS Consult Service, organized a one day workshop for ATEME customers from Germany and Austria. Again with a subtle balance of academic training and ATEME vision of the market, customers were taken aboard for a new “Atemian” journey.
Quite a nice number of broadcasters, pay TV and service operators participated. “We were delighted to see their interest in our TITAN and CM5000/DR5000 line of products and also to have stimulating conversations about HEVC and 4K with them”-said Thomas Burnichon, ATEME’s File Transcoding Product Marketing Manager, who presented ATEME UHD HEVC activities and roadmap..
“The workshop was quite informative. The product and technical background information (HEVC, UHD, DVB-S2+/3) supplied during the presentations was especially valuable. It was very helpful to see what is on the market now and in the near future. Keep at it!” said Gerd Meyer, Broadcast & Production Division Engineering at CBC.
Such inputs from the field are very valuable and our answer is “Yes, we will”
We will prove it as we continue in the same vein at ANGACOM 2014.
Come along and see for yourselves.
